Pre-treatment before applying gel or nail polish (preparation)

Preparation is an important process for making your nails last longer and look beautiful.

Trim and shape nails

Shape and trim your natural nails to your desired length and shape with a nail file. Move the file in one direction, not back and forth. Use a nail file with 180-240 grit.

Treat cuticles

Soften your cuticles with cuticle remover or warm water, then gently push them back with a pusher. Cut off any excess cuticles or loose skin with nippers.

Buffing (for gel only)

Lightly buff the entire surface of the nail with a sponge file. Pay extra attention to the sides, as they tend to lift easily. Use a nail file with 150-180 grit.

Remove moisture and oil

Soak a paper towel or similar with cleaner or ethanol and wipe off any oil or dirt from the nail surface. Insufficient oil removal can cause peeling, so perform this step carefully.

How to apply nail seals flawlessly

For nail polish

1. Apply a base coat and let it dry.

2. Apply your desired color and let it dry.

3. Peel the nail seal from its backing and apply it to your nail. Press it firmly with a pusher or similar tool to prevent air bubbles.

4. Apply a top coat, and once it dries, you're done!    Applying two coats of top coat will make it last longer.

For gel nails

1. Apply base gel and cure.

2. Apply your desired color gel and cure.

3. Apply a no-wipe top coat and cure.

4. Peel the nail seal from its backing and apply it to your nail. Press it firmly with a pusher or similar tool to prevent air bubbles.

5. Apply a top gel, and once it dries, you're done!    Applying two coats of top coat will make it last longer.

Pro tips!

・When applying larger seals, trim any excess that extends beyond your nail with scissors. Cutting about 1mm from the edge of your nail will help them last longer.

Dry nails can cause polish to peel easily, so keeping them moisturized with oil helps with adhesion. Finish by moisturizing with nail oil.

Tips for applying well

・Due to strong adhesive power, the sticker may be difficult to peel off. Try to apply it in one go instead of reapplying multiple times.

・Use tweezers with sharp tips.

・When peeling off the sticker, bend the backing paper to slightly lift a cut edge, then gently peel it off.

・If you don't have tweezers, you can easily remove the sticker by peeling off all the outer parts (the parts without illustrations).

Summary: Enjoy character nails with proper care and official items!
